Mickey Hart, Damian Marley, Robby Krieger and More to Join Skrillex at Bonnaroo

The Skrillex SuperJam at Bonnaroo will feature the likes of Big Gigantic, Damian Marley, The Doors’ Robby Krieger, Zedd, the Grateful Dead’s Mickey Hart, Janelle Monae, Warpaint, Chance the Rapper, Thundercat and more. The SuperJam will take place from 12-2 AM in The Other Tent on June 14.

Skrillex and The Doors have collaborated before in the past, as the popular DJ used the surviving members on his track “Breakn’ a Sweat” in addition to a sample from a Jim Morrison interview from the ’60s. Hart and Skrillex hung out during the Hard Day of the Dead in 2013 and the DJ also participated in a conference about the touring model set by the Dead alongside Warren Haynes.

More details about the additional Superjams are expected in the coming weeks. Bonnaroo kicks off June 12 in Manchester, TN and features headlining sets from Kanye West, Elton John and Jack White.

Hart’s appearance at the festival marks the first time a member of the Grateful Dead has performed at Bonnaroo since 2008, though touring member Bruce Hornsby played the festival in 2011.

I’d rather do time in the Tennessee State Prison than be subjected to this.

Skrillex should call in sick. Turn it into Dom Lali of Big G and friends. Let him show his skills like he use to in The Motet 10yrs ago

The devils are really soiling their name more than Hart ever did on stage with this willingness to sit in with any EDM artist with a phone. Skrillex is pretty cool live, but Jesus talk about time and place for the devils. They are going to get lost in the sound of one giant dub step fart.
