Rooftop Films will kick off its 18th annual Summer Film Series at Industry City in New York City tonight with a collection of short films and a performance by Alsarah and The Nubatones. However, due the inclement weather, the event will be held indoors instead of on the roof.

The Rooftop Film Series will take place at a few different venues across the city over the course of the summer. Each night will feature musical entertainment, followed by a feature film or several short films. Tickets for the shows and a full schedule of upcoming film/performers can be found here.
