Wax museum chain Madame Tussauds has unveiled a Jerry Garcia wax figure that will take up residence in its new San Francisco location. The statue debuted last week during an event at the corner of Haight and Ashbury that featured appearances by Garcia’s youngest daughter Keelin Garcia as well as her mother Manasha Garcia.

The Grateful Dead frontman’s likeness is one of many that will appear in the new Madame Tussaud location’s “Spirit of San Francisco” room when the building opens on June 26.

That’s terrible! It looks like Kelsey Grammer dressed up as Jerry. How could they do such a bad job?

I have visited the Madame Tussauds in Vegas and was amazed at the quality. Looking forward to checking this out, does seem like they missed by not having Jerry in a black t and sweats.
