Queen will release a new album featuring unreleased tunes sung by Freddie Mercury. Guitarist Brian May revealed the news recently during an interview with BBC Radio, saying that the compilation will probably be called Queen Forever and that it should be available by the end of the year.

May and drummer Roger Taylor are handling the restoration process for the album, which will feature songs that were recorded in the 1980s. May also announced his plans to release a number of Mercury/Michael Jackson duet tracks last year, though its unclear whether or not those songs will be included on the Queen Forever compilation.

In related news, Adam Lambert will join May and Taylor on the road next month when Queen embark on their first full North American tour in almost 10 years.
