Warren Haynes sat in with moe. last night during the band’s No Guts, No Glory album release party at Stage 48 in New York City. Haynes made his appearance at the end of the first set for “Happy Hour Hero” before sitting in again on “Can’t You Hear Me Knock’n” at the beginning of the second set. The guitarist had already played a full show with Phil Lesh and Friends at the Central Park Summerstage earlier in the night.

moe. was also joined by No Guts, No Glory producer David Aron on clarinet for the new track “Blond Hair and Blue Eyes.” Interestingly, the band played every song on their new LP (except for “The Pines and The Apple Tree”) during the second set.

Fans that purchased VIP tickets for party were also treated to a pre-show acoustic set. The special performance featured the first “Blister in the Sun” since February 12, 2007, as well as a rendition of “Blue Eyed Son” that saw guitarist Al Schnier take up the mandolin.

As previously reported, moe. released their No Guts, No Glory earlier this week.
