Doesn’t bother anybody that this is a show four days after the pure Jerry release at the Warner Center on March 18, 1978? Four days! It’s practically the same set list! I just can imagine it’s a pretty awesome show to have a fat close to a previous release

How about this for an idea whadd’ya say we jump to another year and maybe just maybe come up with a few different songs other than the same 10 or 12. Rhapsody in Red, Mississippi Moon, Sittin’ Here in Limbo,Let it Rock,The way you Do the things you do, Tough Mama,Wicked Messenger. It’s No Use. Do any of these songs ring a bell? This Garcia series is turning as plain and boring as that ’77 boxed set ya know the one with 5 estimated, scarlet fire’s,4 bertha’s, you get the gist. When Dick was here and pickin’ he was right on the money with 95% of his picks david lemioux not nearly so much. I want to know who has the final say when it comes down what gets released and what does not. Could i be involved with that,Bro i am sure i got a few dates in mind that the tried and true most definitely would dig ‘em.

Yeah. It would be nice to see some more early 80’s stuff. There are some moments on tunes like Let it Rock and Tangled Up in Blue where Jerry absolutely shreds. More so than in 70’s or 90’s when the tempos seemed to get slower and slower.

yelnick: you are our next president! awesome screen name. The more Jerry pumped out into the world the better.
