Rich Robinson got some help from a bunch of special guests during last night’s sold out show at City Winery in New York City. The Black Crowes guitarist, who was backed by his solo band (drummer Joe Magistro, keyboardist Matt Slocum, guitarist Dan Wistrom and bassist Ted Pecchio), was joined by Amy Helm, Jack Greene, Marco Benevento, The Roots’ Captain Kirk Douglas and The London Souls’ Tash Neal. The guests made appearances throughout the night, and all of them sat in for the final three songs—renditions of The Beatles’ “What Goes On,” The Velvet Underground’s “Oh Sweet Nuthin” and Derek and The Dominoes’ “Got To Get Better.”

Robinson is currently on the road in support of his new solo album, The Ceaseless Sight.
