Jim James made a few appearances during last night’s Conor Oberst and Dawes show at Buster’s in Lexington, KY on Saturday night. JamBase reports that the My Morning Jacket frontman, who hails from Kentucky, first showed up for “Peace In The Valley” during Dawes set before taking up bass to join Oberst for a duet of “At The Bottom of Everything.” Dawes then joined the Monster of Folk bandmates for “Roosevelt Room,” which featured James on guitar.

As previously reported, Dawes have been supporting Oberst on his current tour, both as an opening act and as a backing band.
