Skrillex got some help from an eclectic assortment of guests during the one-of-a-kind Skrillex & Friends SuperJam at Bonnaroo on Saturday night. The show got started with a few songs featuring the “core band”—Skrillex and Big Gigantic—along with some the High and Might horns and background vocalists Ruby Amanfu and Lucie Silvas.

The first special guests to make an appearance were MCs Sargent Pokes and Fat Man Scoop, who opened with “Recess,” “Let Me Clear My Throat,” and “Be Faithful.” They were followed by Umphrey’s McGee keyboardist Joel Cummins and Incubus guitarist Mike Einziger, who joined the core band for Toto’s “Africa” (a song that Umphrey’s have covered on 61 occasions).

Skrillex and Big G kept things going with a series of tunes before Grateful Dead percussionist Mickey Hart sat in on the steel drums for an interesting rendition of “Fire On The Mountain” that was followed by TWRK’s “Badinga.” Hart then left the stage as Mystikal came out with The Office star Craig Robinson for a take on the New Orleans rapper’s hit “Bouncin’ Back.” Mystikal also stuck around for rendition of his other classics “Danger” and “Shake Ya Ass” before Robinson surprised everyone by singing Bill Withers’ “Use Me.”

Warpaint came out next for Technotronic’s “Pump Up The Jam” and David Bowie’s “Let’s Dance” before Janelle Monae, Cummins, Einziger and Thundercat joined the fray for Michael Jackson’s “Wanna Be Startin Somethin,” while Monae and Einziger stayed around for James Brown’s “I Feel Good” and her own “Tightrope.” Joel and Thundercat then returned with A$AP Ferg for a few songs before Zedd made an appearance on “Wild for the Night.” Robby Krieger then took the stage for “Breakin’ A Sweat,” the song that he and the rest of the surviving members of The Doors recorded with Skrillex for the 2012 documentary Re:GENERATION. Skrillex then took up guitar as Cage The Elephant’s Matt Shultz sang “Break On Thru,” which was followed by a sit in from Damian Marley on “Fighter” and “Jamrock” before Cummins returned to the group for “Bun Dem.” The set then came to a close with James Brown’s “Get Up.”

However, the show did not end with the set, as Lauryn Hill and members of her band joined Skrillex and Big G for a hip-hop finale that feature renditions of The Fugees’ “Fugee La” and “Ready or Not,” as well as the Miseducation of Lauryn Hill track “Lost Ones” and a show-ending version of Stevie Wonder’s “Master Blaster (Jammin).”
