Last week in Milan, Pearl Jam debuted a brief snippet of “Let It Go” from the popular Disney movie Frozen. Now, frontman Eddie Vedder has revealed the reason behind the choice. As was rumored to be the case following the show, the band’s family was in attendance that evening—including Vedder’s five-year old daughter, who reportedly requested the tune.
Vedder’s friend, Tom Tomorrow, delivered the news:
So that clip of Pearl Jam doing the song from Frozen? That was a request — from Eddie Vedder's five year old daughter.

Just got off the phone with Ed and he told me I should tweet that.
