Australia’s Big Day Out Festival will not return in 2015, Faster Louder is reporting. The festival, which featured Pearl Jam and Arcade Fire, reportedly lost somewhere between $8 and $15 million on the 2014 edition. The Blur dropped out of their headlining slot, sparking controversy by saying the organizers were difficult to work with.

Big Day Out promoter AJ Maddah took to Twitter to explain the situation, saying that the lack of suitable headliners was the reason for cancellation. Maddah, who just sold his share of the festival, also took time to mention he thought OutKast has been “awful live.”
