Jim Pollock Illustrates HeadCount Postcards to be Distributed at Phish Shows

Rock poster artist Jim Pollock has designed a limited edition of #GoVote postcards for the non-profit organization HeadCount that will be distributed at Phish concerts this summer. To receive a free postcard, fans should stop by the HeadCount table and sign a “Pledge to Vote” on the back.

In an interview with, Pollock described the inspiration for the photo. “It’s the red against the blue jerseys,” Pollock explained. “I’m pretty up-front about my political beliefs, but I like to see a good race. I’d like to see both parties thrive and have more parity.”

The #GoVote series began in 2012 in a Tumblr campaign involving work by hundreds of artists. This year, HeadCount is adding the element of postcards as well as musicians posing for photos with the #GoVote artwork. The campaign will culminate on Election Day in November when hundreds of musicians and entertainers will post their photos on social media. Fans will also receive their postcards in the mail that week.

I would like to apologize for all of the awful stupid remarks I have made on this site. I really have severe emotional problems and I still live with my parents and am 40 years old. Once again sorry for everything.

D the S, say it ain’t so! If only this was the work of your clone or your clone’s clone, I could easily accept it. Yours is the voice of reason here on this resin infested, patchouli oil reaking cesspool…Doesn’t anybody remember laughter? Is there a bustle in your hedgerow? Acshulllly, I know it’s not you as I know you use a lower case s in your name. Nice try faker, you’ll need to get up a lot earlier if you want to put the whammy on D the S or the DJ. Out! Abiding!

That post is actually from my clone BJ. He is obsessed with Phish. Especially Trey. He wants to have Trey’s love child and it is very sad really.
Back to business. Why anyone would want to try and get the wookie nation to vote is beyond me. They are way to busy getting as high as humanly possible while trying to use their welfare checks to follow the band. That is all they care about. Drugs and Phish. In that order. Trying to get them to vote is like trying to get a pig to sing. You will get frustrated with the pig and the pig will just get annoyed with you…dude.
