Saw these guys a few weeks ago in Rochester, they are good… if you like Soulive, you will like these guys… somewhat the same, with less jazz and instead more of a blues edge to them…

So did the Alan Evans Trio (AE3) become Playonbrother?
I picked up the AE3 live disc from the Woodstock jam sessions (a mere few days before MMW & Nels jammed and recorded) and it’s really great, very much worth getting. That disc did have Beau on keys and it’s a shame he is moving on.
And ‘me’ is correct, it is very Soulive with a little more vocals and a bluesey edge. Go see ‘em.
