Medeski, Scofield, Martin & Wood Confirm Winter Tour

Medeski, Scofield, Martin & Wood have announced have announced a brief North American tour for December. The quartet will get started at Washington, DC’s 9:30 Club on December 4 before making their way to Philadelphia, Long Island, Boston, Durham, Atlanta, New York City, Toronto, Chicago and Minneapolis over the course of the next two weeks.

MSMW will be hitting the road in support of their forthcoming album, Juice, which is set for release on September 16. The LP contains six original compositions, as well as covers of Eddie Harris’ “Sham Time,” Cream’s “Sunshine of Your Love,” The Doors’ “Light My Fire” and Bob Dylan’s “The Times They Are A-Changin’.”

I understand that due to booking agreements bands make more money by playing T5, but given all the great venues in NYC it sucks to see a great band play such a sh*tty venue. Won’t be going, please book somewhere else next time moe.
