Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood revealed to BBC Radio 6’s Mary Anne Hobbs (via NME) that the band will reconvene in September to begin work on their ninth studio album. “We’re going to start up in September, playing, rehearsing and recording and see how it’s sounding,” the guitarist said.

Greenwood, as well as brother Colin, have previously discussed the potential of new Radiohead material sometime this year, adding that they were “making a plan” to record the follow up to 2011’s King of Limbs.
