Eddie Vedder to Throw Out FIrst Pitch at Wrigley Field

Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder will throw out the first pitch at Wrigley Field tomorrow night as the Cubs face the San Diego Padres. He will also sing “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” during the seventh inning stretch.

Vedder, who grew up a lifelong Cubs fan, has performed “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” several times, with the first coming on July 4, 1998. He has also thrown out the ceremonial first pitch on several occasions, with the first coming in 2007.
