The Capitol Theatre and Madison House Presents will host a special Phil Lesh and Friends show on September 21 at Forest Hills Tennis Stadium in Forest Hills, NY. The bassist will bring The Q to New York City for the first time since 2003, welcoming Warren Haynes, Jimmy Herring, Rob Barraco and John Molo, the longest running incarnation of Phil Lesh & Friends. Tickets to the show are on sale via the Capitol Theatre.

This week, Lesh will headline two shows at the Brooklyn Bowl London location with the Terrapin Family Band on July 29 and 30. JJ Grey & Mofro will join the bill as a special guest. Tickets are available here. In September, Lesh will be a centerpiece at the Lockn’ Festival as he will perform two sets of Phil Lesh & Friends and take the stage for Furthur’s first show since January and their only scheduled performance for the remainder of the year. He will also perform three shows at the newly opened Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas from October 17-19. Two shows will feature Phil Lesh & Friends with the Sunday afternoon finale centered around Lesh and the Terrapin Family Band.

In November of 2013, Lesh and Capitol Theatre proprietor (and Relix publisher) Peter Shapiro signed a deal that secured the Grateful Dead bassist for 44 shows exclusively at Shapiro’s venues as well as venues he is affiliated with including the Capitol Theatre, Brooklyn Bowl New York, Brooklyn Bowl London, Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas and the Lockn’ Festival in Arrington, VA.
