STS9 to Bring Back Axe The Cables for Red Rocks

STS9 will bring back their beloved Axe The Cables show for the first time since 2012 during their upcoming two night stand at Red Rocks in Morrison, CO on September 5 and 6. The band will open both nights with the acoustic sets before playing full, two-set shows at the iconic Colorado venue. The sets will be the STS9’s first Axe The Cables performances with Alanna Rocklin, who replaced longtime bassist David Murphy after he parted ways with the band earlier this year. There is no word yet on what the instrumentation will be, though Rocklin is a proven upright bassist (Murphy used an electric bass for past Axe The Cables shows).

Tickets for the band’s Red Rocks shows are still on sale.

Quit the BS and bring back Dave Murphy. It’s tiring to hear your old songs fall apart amongst a lesser bassists playing.
