Producer Butch Vig revealed on Twitter that the new Foo Fighters album is officially finished. The follow up to 2011’s Wasting Light will be released in November, although a specific date has not been announced as of yet.

As previously reported, the band visited eight different cities and studios to record the album. The process will be documented in an upcoming series on HBO entitled Sonic Highways.

In each city, the band invited a local legend to sit in on the album in some form. Confirmed guests include Gary Clark Jr., Zac Brown, Rick Nielsen, Preservation Hall Jazz Band and many more.
