ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons has teamed up with dance music superstar David Guetta on eight to ten new songs. Billboard reports that the guitarist met up with the EDM producer in Ibiza, Spain following ZZ Top’s latest European tour. Gibbons told the publication that, ““They said, ‘Y’know, the only thing missing in dance music is a good guitar player.’ I said, ‘Let’s see if we can bring the two together and make it shake.’” According to Gibbons, the collaboration led to “eight or 10 cuts that, by and large, I would consider completed.”

As previously reported, ZZ Top recently kicked off a co-headlining tour with Jeff Beck. The two acts will be on the road together until mid-September.
