The Lockn’ Festival has added another set of Umphrey’s McGee to its Thursday schedule. The group will now perform between the String Cheese Incident and String Cheese Incident & The Gang sets on the first day of the festival.

As previously reported, Lockn’ was forced to change up its lineup a bit after Bob Weir abruptly cancelled all of his remaining tour dates (including his Lockn’ set with Furthur) over the weekend. Yesterday, the festival announced that Bill Kreutzmann & The Locknstep Allstars would be making its debut on Friday night, while Lettuce would be playing a set on Thursday. The festival also announced the addition of Rockn’ to Lockn’ winners People Blues of Richmond and Erin & The Wildfire.

Lockn’ will return to Arrington, VA on September 4-7, featuring Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, The Allman Brothers Band, Phil Lesh & Friends, Wilco, Widespread Panic, The String Cheese Incident, Willie Nelson, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Umphrey’s McGee, Grace Potter & The Nocturnals and many others. Both single day tickets and four day passes are available.
