Rick Parashar has died at the age of 50, Pearl Jam confirmed on their Facebook page. Parashar produced the band’s debut album Ten and played instruments on various tracks such as “Black” and “Jeremy.” The producer also worked on the Temple of the Dog project, combining members of Pearl Jam and Soundgarden. Parashar played on “Call Me a Dog,” “All Night Thing” and “Times of Trouble.”

Parashar is credited as a co-founder of London Bridge Studio in Seattle, WA along with his brother Raj. Among the albums recorded in the studio include Soundgarden’s Louder than Love, Alice in Chains’ Facelift, Mother Love Bone’s Shine EP and Apple debut as well as many others.
