Roger Waters to Debut The Wall Concert Film at Toronto Film Festival

Roger Waters: The Wall will make its debut at the Toronto International Film Festival next month. The concert film, which was co-directed by Waters himself, chronicles the spectacular The Wall Tour that ran between 2010 and 2013.

The critically acclaimed The Wall tour featured 219 stops at arenas and stadium around the world during its four years. The project went on to set a record for highest grossing tour by a solo artist, with $458,000,000 earned.

Speaking with Rolling Stone, Waters said, “I can’t top that tour…First of all, you have to accept the fact that I’m not going to live forever…. You just have to accept that when you do something as enormous as that tour. The hardest thing in the world is thinking of something to do, so going and doing it is a reward in itself.”

Roger seems like a total bag but his comments in the last paragraph are very self aware. Kudos.

Roger is one of the bravest and passionate rock personalities out there, or ever. His support for the Palestinians is motivated by his human rights and anti-war values. The Wall Concert is one of the most brilliant rock concerts of all time. More rockers need to have a social conscious like Waters. He is THE MAN.

Roger Waters is antisemitic. His interview in Counterpunch where he claims a Jewish lobby controls the music industry is quite telling. Plus his music hasn’t been relevant since the early 80s. Save your money instead of giving this pathetic phony supporter of human rights, any more of the currency he claims is not good for you.
