Thurston Moore will release a new album on October 21 via Matador Records entitled The Best Day. Moore’s first solo record since 2010’s Demolished Thoughts will feature a backing band of James Deswards (guitar), Deb Googe of My Bloody Valentine and Steve Shelly of Sonic Youth.

Pre-orders for the album are currently ongoing.
