The Punch Brothers are offering fans the chance to add their voice to a track on the band’s upcoming record. Interested persons just need to visit the group’s website between now and Thursday, September 4 to make their contribution.

A message about the project from mandolinist Chris Thile reads:

Hello, My Vocal-Cord-and-Internet-Having Lovelies!

We Punch Brothers would love to have you sing* a few lines on our new record as kind of a meta reference to its theme.

The lines are from a song called “Little Lights,” the studio recording of which we’re hoping to grace with a mighty assembly of your individual Voice Memos and GarageBand sessions.

If you’re up for it, you’ll find further instructions below along with a scratch track that I recorded as a guide. Have fun, and infinite thanks in advance for participating!

Xo,

Chris T.
