Dave Matthews Band’s annual Labor Day Weekend run at the Gorge Amphitheater rolled on last night. This time, the band was joined by special guests Mike McCready of Pearl Jam and Brandi Carlile for a performance of the rare Before These Crowded Streets cut, “Spoon.” The tune was last played on 7/27/13.

The Pearl Jam guitarist sat in previously with the band at their Irvine, CA show in September of 2013 for a take on “Rhyme and Reason.” He and DMB bassist Stefan Lessard are also a part of 1,2,3: GO!, a supergroup quartet along with Fuel lead singer Brett Scallions and drummer Ken Schalk. McCready has also sat in with Lessard’s other project, Yukon Kornelius. This is the second time Carlile sat in with the band, with the first coming in 2013 when she also added vocals on “Spoon.”

Dave Matthews Band’s Gorge run comes to a close tonight.
