Instrumental Led Zeppelin tribute project Bustle In Your Hedgerow will perform at Phil Lesh’s Terrapin Crossroads on October 5. The all-star group features keyboardist Marco Benevento, Wolf! guitarist Scott Metzger, Ween bassist Dave Dreiwitz and Furthur drummer Joe Russo. All four musicians also perform with the Grateful Dead tribute project Joe Russo’s Almost Dead (along with Tom Hamilton of American Babies and Brothers Past). The New York-area based musicians will be in California for Almost Dead’s performance at San Francisco’s Hardly Strictly Bluegrass festival the same weekend.

The members of Bustle have deep connections to the Dead world. In addition to his work with Furthur, Russo has performed with Phil Lesh & Friends this year while both Benevento and Metzger have also performed with the Grateful Dead bassist in recent months.

Bustle will perform at Arrington, VA’s Lockn’ Festival this weekend. While at the festival, Russo will also perform with a special Phil & Friends featuring John Medeski, Warren Haynes and John Scofield.
