Dean Ween has also posted a new song on his website. He says, “Here’s a song from my forthcoming album called Garry. It is another ballad (I’m becoming the king of the ballads somehow) dedicated to Garry Shider. hopefully he’s the last funkateer that I write a ballad for—his influence on me was immeasurable and hopefully this song does his memory and legacy some justice. Brother’s Keeper featuring Glenn McClelland on keyboards are the backing band—best band in the world. Enjoy! Filmed at Taos Mesa Brewery in Taos, New Mexico in July of 2014.”

Melchiondo has spent a good portion of the year promoting his new album Moistboyz V. His longtime musical partner Gene Ween is currently touring his his band Freeman.
