Ryan Adams will be at the 9:30 Club in Washington, DC tonight celebrating tomorrow’s release of his new self-titled album, his first in partnership between his own Pax Am imprint and Blue Note Records. The self-produced album is his 14th overall, and features performances from a wide variety of talented artists, ranging from Benmont Tench (Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers) to Tal Wilkenfeld (Jeff Beck), and even Johnny Depp makes an appearance.
Adams has also announced additional tour dates, making a stop at the Moody Theater for Austin City Limits Live in October, and tacking a pair of shows at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom on to the end of the run. Adams will also be appearing on The Late Show with David Letterman this Thursday.
