Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ singer Karen O is celebrating her solo release Crush Songs with a run of intimate shows at McKittrick’s Manderley Bar, the home of Sleep No More. Last night, she invited several special guests out during her late night set, which kicked off a little after Midnight. Near the end of her show, Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ member Nick Zinner and The Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas joined Karen O for “Day By Go” (the new album was release on Casablancas’ Cult Records). During the night’s encore, she invited a third New York indie-ircon, Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig, out to sing on “Moon Song.” The duo performed the song, which appears in the film Her, at the Academy Awards earlier this year.
