Earlier this week we reported that Arcade Fire’s Richard Reed Parry would be playing a few classical shows this month. Now it’s come to light that his September 26 show at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, which will see Parry joined by The National’s Bryce Dessner and Y Music, will also be an opening set for Trey Anastasio’s orchestral performance on the same night.

As previously reported, Anastasio debuted his new orchestral piece “Petrichor” earlier this week when he kicked off his latest symphony run in Portland, OR. The Phish guitarist is expected to play the piece again when he heads to the Hollywood Bowl, while Parry will perform pieces from his new classical release, Music for Heart and Breath.
