Bob Mould was joined by Ryan Adams last night for the first show of his two-night stand at New York City’s Bowery Ballroom. The singer-songwriter, who is currently touring support of a couple of new releases, came out during the former Hüsker Dü frontman’s encore for a run of Hüsker Dü tunes—“I Apologize,” “Celebrated Summer,” “Something I Learned Today” and “New Day Rising.”

Ryan Adams will make his way to London later this week for the first of four shows in the city. Mould will return to the Bowery Ballroom tonight.
