Phish will not perform at Madison Square Garden for New Year’s Eve this year. Skrillex and Diplo will instead occupy the World’s Most Famous Arena to ring in 2015 with individual sets from each DJ as well as a special performance from their joint project Jack U. Special guests will also take the stage throughout the night, which will be announced soon.

Tickets to the general public go on sale September 19 at Noon.

As for Phish, with MSG out of the picture, many fans are now pointing South towards Miami’s American Airlines Arena as the favorite to land this year’s New Year’s run. The band landed there for four nights in 2009 to close out their reunion year and also rang in the new year at the Triple A in 2003.
