On October 13, King Crimson will release the Starless box set, a 24-disc package that will include the famed Blue Tapes from the band’s European tour in 1973 and 74. All 11 CDs from The Blue Tapes will be included as well as seven CDs of multi-track recordings taken from the ’73 performances that would become the basis for the band’s 1974 effort, Starless and Bible Black.

Additional features include a live recording of the band’s three-song set on Paris TV station ORTF as well as the stereo mix reissue of Starless and Bible Black, released in 2011. Fans will also gain access to two DVD discs and two Blu-Rays containing concert and studio footage.

Pre-orders for the box set are currently ongoing.
