In a new interview with Uncut, as noted by Consequence of Sound , David Gilmour and Nick Mason reveal additional details about the band’s forthcoming album The Endless River. Due out November 10, the album will contain four different pieces on each side of the record, focusing more on the “atmospheric and digressive aspects of Pink Floyd.”

Other details of note include the original organ recordings from Floyd’s Richard Wright, taken from rehearsals dating back to June of 1969. The duo also dispelled rumors that the album was based on The Big Spliff, saying that it only incorporates a few seconds from the original project.
