Jam Cruise has revealed some more details for this year’s party, including the list of Jam Room hosts, atrium piano sets and other activities.

Jam Cruise’s famed jam room, which features spontaneous late-night music sessions that often go until the early morning hours, will be hosted by Derek Vincent Smith (aka Pretty Lights), George Porter Jr., Robert Walter, Nikki Glaspie and Roosevelt Collier. Each host will kick off the session with their choice of friends and vibe, though anything is possible as the night goes on.

Jam Cruise has also confirmed that Ivan Neville, Joel Cummins, Nigel Hall, Ike Stubblefield and John “Papa” Gros will play piano sets in the ship’s beautiful atrium. The room will also host a Pickin’ Party with Fruition, Elephant Revival, Railroad Earth’s Tim Carbone and Greensky Bluegrass’ Paul Hoffman and Anders Beck.

Other activities that have been announced include a door decorating contest judged by Kung Fu, Ivan Neville’s Texas Hold ‘Em Tournament, a BaDuanJin class led by Karl Denson and a Jam Cruise Wedding officiated by Charles Bradley.

As previously reported Jam Cruise 13 will kick off on January 6 when the MSC Divina sets sail from Miami. The event will feature performances by the Pretty Light Live Band, Umphrey’s McGee, The Word, Galactic, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Lettuce, Charles Bradley and His Extraordinaires, John Scofield Uberjam Band, Snarky Puppy, G. Love & Special Sauce and many more before it returns to Miami on January 11. Along the way, the MSC Divina will make stops in Roatan, Honduras and Costa Maya, Mexico.

Jam Cruise 13 is now 95% sold out, but a limited number of cabins are now on sale.
