The Disco Biscuits made their way to the Electric Factory for the second show of their City Bisco run last night. During a three-night run earlier this year, the venue unveiled paintings of three of the band’s members—guitarist Jon “The Barber” Gutwillig, bassist Marc Brownstein and keyboardist Aron Magner—in the upstairs men’s bathroom. This time around, the Electric Factory had also added the likeness of drummer Allen Aucoin to the mix.

Following an opening set from American Babies, the night got started with an unfinished “Down To The Bottom” that segued into the relatively new (debuted in 2010) track “Bombs” before moving right into the ending of “House Dog Party Favor.” A dub rendition of “Floodlights” came next, marking the first time that the song has appeared this year. The tune then played into 2014’s first “We Like To Party,” which then segued into the rest of “Down to the Bottom” to wrap up the set.

The first part of “Story of the World” kicked off what would end up becoming a lengthy second set. The song segued into an inverted take on “The Great Abyss,” which then transitioned into “Mr. Don.” Next up was an unfinished “Digital Buddha” that became the end of “Story of the World” before rounding out the dyslexic “House Dog Party Favor.” The set then came to a close with the rest of “Digital Buddha,” with the band quickly returning to the stage for a “Highwire” encore.

The Disco Biscuits will wrap up City Bisco tonight with a show at The Mann Center in Philadelphia. Special guests Giorgio Moroder, ORchard Lounge and Risky Disco will open the evening.
