In a new interview with Metal Hammer, Black Sabbath’s Ozzy Osbourne says that the band will team up with producer Rick Rubin to record the follow-up to their 2013 effort 13. Osbourne also says the band will play one final tour before retiring.

“The whole Sabbath experience this time around was great,” Osbourne told Metal Hammer. “We all made friends, we didn’t fuck around, we all knew that we had a job to do, and we did it. It was a lot of fun. So we’re going to do one more album, and a final tour. Once the dust settled after the last tour we started discussing the idea, because we were getting asked about it all the time.”

Osbourne also said he anticipates the sessions with Rubin will begin in early 2015. “It’ll be sooner rather than later.” He also says that a lot of it “is coming down to Tony’s [guitarist Tony Iommi was diagnosed with lymphoma in 2012] health.”
