Pegi Young & the Survivors will release Lonely in a Crowded Room on October 27 via New West Records. The release will coincide with the 28th Bridge School Benefit show, which will feature Neil Young, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Brian Wilson, Band of Horses and more. New West Records has pledged a portion of the album’s proceeds to the Bridge School.

The first track, “Lonely Women Make Good Lovers,” penned by Spooner Oldham, is now streaming on Popmatters.com. The song was originally recorded in 1972 by Bob Luman and became a hit for Steve Wariner in 1984.
