Conan O’Brien, Jane’s Addiciton’s Perry Farrell and Stephen Perkins, Wilco’s Pat Sansone, Jimmy Vivino and Heartless Bastards’ Erika Wennerstrom were among the surprise guests that showed up at George Fest: A Night to Celebrate the Music of George Harrison at the The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles this past Sunday. The artists joined a stellar lineup of previously announced musicians, including Dhani Harrison, Brian Wilson, Al Jardine, Ann Wilson, Werid Al, Norah Jones, Wayne Coyne, Ben Harper and many more.

Modeled on previous tribute events like Petty Fest and Dylan Fest, George Fest saw various artists honor the legendary Beatle while backed by the Cabin Down Below Band. The night included renditions of some of Harrison’s most beloved solo tunes, as well as a few songs from his time with the Fab Four.
