In a Q&A at the London launch of the latest Led Zeppelin reissues, Jimmy Page addressed, as first reported by Rolling Stone , the possibilities of a reunion with his old bandmates as well as his own musical future. On the reunion, Page said, “I don’t think it looks as though that’s on the cards, so there’s not much more I can say about that.” The guitarist declined to speak for his other bandmates, but did say that it “just doesn’t look very likely.”

While Page may not be playing with Zeppelin any time soon, he did say he may form a new band next year to tour with. “I haven’t put the musicians together, I’m going to do that next year,” he said. “If I went out to play again, I would play material that spanned my recording career. I’d go back to the very early days [including] Yardbirds material, and it would certainly have some new material as well.”
