As a part of Dark Star Orchestra week at Terrapin Crossroads, Phil Lesh & Friends took a page out of the DSO playbook last night and recreated a Grateful Dead show in its entirety. The show, 8/27/72 at the Renaissance Faire Grounds in Veneta, OR, was the basis of the documentary film Sunshine Daydream, released on DVD and Blu-Ray in 2013. The show was also a live album containing the entire three-set performance.

Joining Lesh was son Grahame as well as Stu Allen, Jeff Chimenti, Ezra Lipp and Elliott Peck. Dark Star Orchestra will play two shows at the Lesh-owned venue beginning tonight.
