Widespread Panic kicked off their fall tour last night in Charleston, SC, marking the debut of Duane Trucks as the temporary replacement for drummer Todd Nance. The rather old-school set featured early takes on tunes like “Tall Boy,” “Diner,” “Holden Oversoul,” “Henry Parsons Died” and more.

For their second set, the group continued the old school theme but also opened with a pair of ZZ Top covers, “Waitin’ For the Bus” and “Jesus Just Left Chicago. The Talking Heads’ “Life During Wartime” also found a place in the set following “Greta.”

Panic will return to the North Charleston Coliseum tonight for their second of two shows.
