Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters will perform an ultra-rare club show at the Brooklyn Bowl on Thursday, October 9 beginning at midnight. Tickets to the show will go on sale October 7 at 3 PM via the Brooklyn Bowl website. The legendary Led Zeppelin frontman is currently wrapping up a brief U.S. run which began at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY on September 25 and includes stops this week in Denver and Los Angeles. The Brooklyn Bowl show will serve as the final stop on the tour before Plant breaks to ready for his U.K. tour beginning November 9 in Newport.

Plant’s latest solo effort, lullaby and…The Ceaseless Roar, marked his tenth solo album and first with the Sensational Space Shifters. The album was released on September 8. In a statement to the New York Times, Plant said that he added the show because he “can’t get enough” of performing. “Any place, anywhere, anytime,” he said.

On the show, Brooklyn Bowl and Capitol Theatre owner Peter Shapiro said, “We’ve had such a great year, opening up in Las Vegas and London, but this will be the holy grail.” The Roots’ Questlove will also perform his normal Thursday night Bowl Train DJ set before Plant and his band hit the stage.
