The Afghan Whigs headlined the intimate Music Hall of Williamsburg last night following a show at the Beacon Theatre with Charles Bradley the previous night. On this night, the band would deliver two encores, the first of which closed with special guest Usher joining the band for a take on his own “Climax.”

Usher and the Whigs collaborated on the same song at South By Southwest in 2013.

Additional covers during the show included a snippet of Drake’s “Over My Dead Body” in their own “When We Two Parted” as well as a take on The Doors’ “Roadhouse Blues.”
