The nominees for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s 2015 class include Nine Inch Nails, Lou Reed, The Smiths, Green Day, Kraftwerk, N.W.A., Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Chic, Sting, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Bill Withers, War, The Spinners, The Paul Butterfield Blues Band and The Marvelettes. The top five vote-getters will be inducted into the Hall of Fame in April 2015. Voting is now open at RollingStone.com.

This marks the first year Nine Inch Nails and Green Day are eligible, as both of their respective debuts were released in 1989. Lou Reed and Sting were both previously inducted as members of The Velvet Underground and The Police, however both musicians are now up for induction as solo artists.

This year’s class featured inductees KISS, Hall and Oates, The E Street Band, Cat Stevens and more. The ceremony was held at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.
