Gov’t Mule welcomed out a series of special guests last night during their show at the Florida Theatre in Jacksonville, most of which hail from the area. First, the group brought out multi-instrumentalist Kofi Burbridge for a take on “Forsaken Savior” in the first set before the large ensemble of Burbridge, Susan Tedeschi, Derek Trucks, Tim Lefebvre and Tyler Greenwell came out for “The Sky is Crying.” Mule drummer Matt Abts and bassist Jorgen Carlsson did not perform on the tune.

The first set closed with just Burbridge and Trucks out for “Dreams.” There were no guests in the second set and encore which featured takes on Radiohead’s “Creep,” “Lola Leave Your Light On” and the closing, “World Boss,” among others. Mule’s tour continues tonight at The Fillmore in Miami, FL.
