After Gov’t Mule’s show in Jacksonville yielded sit-ins from the likes of Derek Trucks, Susan Tedeschi and Kofi Burbridge, the band traveled further south to Miami where they were joined by Roosevelt Collier and guitarist David Shelley in the encore.

Collier, a longtime collaborator with Mule, came out to start the encore on the classic “Soulshine” before both Collier and Shelley closed the night with a take on “The Thrill is Gone.” Additional highlights from the show include several Beatles covers including “She Said, She Said” and “Tomorrow Never Knows” along with “Yer Blues.”

Gov’t Mule’s Florida run continues tonight in St. Petersburg, FL.
