Widespread Panic continued their fall tour with a stop close to home at Alpharetta, GA’s Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre which predictably featured some special guest appearances. First, longtime collaborator John Keane started the encore with the band, adding guitar to “Degenerate.”

The final two songs of the show, “Me and the Devil Blues” and “Time is Free,” featured Keane along with Carter Herring on guitar, son of Panic guitarist Jimmy Herring. The current Widespread Panic lineup also features some additional jamband lineage as Duane Trucks is currently on drums, filling in for Todd Nance.
