Ryan Adams got some help from pal and collaborator Butch Walker last night in Minneapolis on the final song of the evening, “Come Pick Me Up.” The Georgia-based guitarist took a brief solo on the song and added accompanying vocals. As previously reported, Walker’s forthcoming album was produced by Ryan Adams and also features Johnny Depp and Bob Mould.

Walker has opened up the last few shows for the singer-songwriter and Adams has jumped on the drum kit for his set as well.

Additional highlights from the set include the standout Love is Hell cut “English Girls Approximately,” performed by Adams solo, marking just the second play in the last two years. The set also closed with yet another take on the Bryan Adams song, “Run to You.”

Next up for Adams is a show tonight at Milwaukee’s Riverside Theatre.
